"The Uncle Al Show" (sometimes listed as "The Uncle Al and Captain Windy Show" and/or "The Al & Wanda Lewis Show") ran from 1953 through the mid 80s. Locally, the show followed "Captain Kangaroo" for the whole 30 plus years it was on. It was such a local hit that ABC-TV picked it up for one season in 1958, showing it at 11:00 A.M. weekly on Saturday mornings. Now retired on a farm in Hillsboro, Ohio. Occasionally appears in reunion shows as Captain Windy.
