Nicholas Edward Foles is an American midfielder on the Chicago Bears football team of the National Football League. He played college football in Arizona and was included in the Philadelphia Eagles team in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Foles played his first game against the Eagles after Michael Vick was injured in the mid- season 2012, from the rest of the year. In one game of the 2013 season, he became the second midfielder to achieve the perfect passing score of over 400 yards and seven touches. This is only the seventh time in NFL history that a midfielder has thrown seven touches of the ball in a single game. After bonding with St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs, Foles returned to the Eagles in 2017. After Carson Wentz was injured at the end of the season, Foles led the Eagles to the franchise's third Super Bowl appearance.
