He began rapping at the age of nine and was a member of the St. Lunatics by the age of twelve. The group released their debut album, Free City, in 2001. The album was a success, reaching number three on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2003, Lee released his debut solo album, Murphy's Law. The album featured the hit single "Shake Ya Tailfeather," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album was certified gold by the RIAA. In 2006, Lee released his second solo album, Da Skool Boy. The album featured the hit single "Watch My Feet," which reached number twenty-five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album was certified gold by the RIAA. Lee has also appeared in several films, including The Wash (2001), Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004), and ATL (2006).
