We haven’t heard much from Jon Bellion in a while, but he’s clearly been hard at work perfecting his craft. “Guillotine” gets us reacquainted with the singer with the help of Travis Mendes.
The track is an amalgamation of different genres. Disco-style bass carries the song, while electronic influences surface throughout the track in the form of quirky samples and wavy, downtuned synths. It all comes together for a track that's difficult not to dance to. Travis Mendes’ deeper vocals act as a nice balance to Bellion’s more delicate voice, and the two harmonize throughout the song.
